I’m back, and I’ll never leave you again. :)

Yes, I know… it’s been almost a year since I’ve posted here! But I do have the most adorable excuse in the world, don’t you think?

Meet Madison Audrey! This little munchkin has kept me pretty busy since August. If you follow me on Facebook, I’m sure you’ve already seen the overload of photos that I’ve taken of this sweet face. It’s amazing how fast they grow… she’s already 6 months old, sitting up, playing peek-a-boo, and standing up holding onto things. This girl is ready to run!

Motherhood has been amazing so far. It’s been a challenge trying to find that balance between my work life and personal life, but I have an amazing husband who keeps me grounded.

I know I say this every year, but 2013 is going to be incredible! It’s my 12th year as a photographer, my 5th year in business, and my 2nd year in the studio. I am so blessed to have been able to turn my love of photography into a successful career. And speaking as a Mommy, it’s such a joy to be able to have a job that allows me to be home with my baby girl as much as possible. I mean really what other job do you know of that let’s work work at your kitchen table in your pj’s?

You’ll be seeing many more posts from me this year… aside from sharing on Facebook, I will be posting tons of adorable baby photos here, along with all of my fabulous weddings. You’ll see links to all of the vendors that work with me at each wedding, along with posts that are designed to help brides with the wedding-planning process. Photographers, there will be lots of goodies for you, too! I’m working on something extra special, but it will be a few months before it’s released. (I’m a perfectionist, ya know.) I’ll have behind-the-scenes photos, tips and tricks, Q&A posts, and lots more.
