The snow started at around 7pm last night, and it was still coming down when I went to bed at midnight. It was so wonderful to sit and just look out the window at the snow falling down in the dark, the entire city of Myrtle Beach seemed to some to a standstill… it was quite peaceful. It was as if a blanket of snow was just what the city needed. I woke up this morning to children playing outside in the snow, moms following them around with their cameras… Facebook was covered in photos of the white stuff covering people homes and cars.
Now I’m from New York, so snow is nothing fantastic to me… but it really is quite amazing to watch an entire city stop from the hustle and bustle of their lives to enjoy this rare gift from Mother Nature. So of course I had to take some pictures when we took the dogs for their walk this morning!
Lucky just couldn’t understand what was going on!
Lilo, on the other hand, had a blast! She loves the snow. 
In true Myrtle Beach fashion, the sun is shining this morning! The snow is starting to melt, so there is a warning for black ice this evening. If you’re out on the roads, please be careful!
And, I should mention… the new website goes live tomorrow!
