I’ll start this post out with a little backstory:

In the photography world, there are 2 types of photographers. Those who photograph anything and everything, and those who specialize in just 1 or 2 areas. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “Jack of all trades and a master of none.” When I was originally building my business plan, I decided to go the specialty route so that I could truly master the areas that I enjoy. I don’t shoot families on the beach, birthday parties, senior portraits… I photograph weddings and newborns. Exclusively. I have stuck to this since my first day of business, and even though I have had to turn away potential clients because of it, I know that it has helped me stand out and develop a specific brand for myself.

That being said… onto the albums.

The album company that I originally started with years ago made some changes this year. It seems they have chosen the “Jack of all trades” route, offering not only albums, but every other product under the sun as well… magnets, postcards, calendars, stickers, etc. So I decided to make some changes as well.

Enter: Leather Craftsmen!

Leather Craftsmen has been in business since 1942, and they are truly a master at what they do! They have an incredible selection of cover options, their albums are of the highest quality, and their customer service can’t be beat. When my first sample album arrived on my doorstep… I was sold! I immediately ordered 2 more samples, the last of which arrived just in time for Christmas. These are sure to be a huge hit at the bridal shows next month!

I am so honored to have joined the Leather Craftsmen family, and I can’t wait to share these albums with my brides. 2011 is going to be an amazing year!
